Construction Guide

Building a true-to-scale replica requires patience and strict methodology. Follow our standard workshop protocol for optimal structural integrity and finishing results.

01

Blueprint Analysis

Review the technical schematics provided in the box. Identify all sprues and cross-reference parts before making any cuts. Understanding the final sub-assemblies beforehand is crucial to avoiding irreversible errors.

02

Component Preparation

Use sharp side cutters to remove parts cleanly from the sprue. Sand down residual gates and test-fit pieces dry before applying any polystyrene cement. Precision at this stage guarantees a seamless fuselage later.

03

Sub-Assembly Integration

Build in distinct modules—such as the cockpit, wings, and engine housings—before marrying them to the main body. Allow sufficient curing time for the cement to bond the plastics permanently at the molecular level.

04

Surface Finishing

Prime the model to reveal micro-imperfections, sand accordingly, and apply the base coats. Finish with authentic decals softened onto the complex contours using specialized setting solutions, followed by a sealing varnish.

Choose Your Challenge

Level 1: Beginner

Snap-fit construction with minimal painting required. Perfect for first-time builders.

Level 3: Intermediate

Requires glue and paint. Features moderate part counts and standard decals.

Level 5: Master

Complex sub-assemblies, photo-etched parts, and advanced rigging for experts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What scale ratios are available in the catalog?

Our primary focus is on the highly detailed 1:48 and 1:32 scales for combat aircraft, providing an ideal balance of size and detailing for collectors. We also offer 1:144 scale kits for our commercial airliner series.

Do the kits include paint and cement?

Our premium "Starter Sets" contain everything required to complete the model, including standard acrylic paints, brushes, and poly cement. Standard individual kits require you to source your own finishing materials and tools from our shop.

What skill level is required?

Kits are graded numerically from Level 1 (snap-fit construction, minimal painting required) up to Level 5 (complex sub-assemblies, photo-etched metal parts, and advanced rigging). Please check the specification label on each individual box before purchasing.
